摘要
上个世纪70年代,余英时先生在《反智论与中国政治传统》一文中提出法家是反智论者,"反智论"在法家的系统中得到了"最充分的发展"。三十年后,周炽成先生于本世纪初撰文《略论法家的智性传统——兼与余英时先生商榷》提出与之相反的观点,认为法家不仅不反智,而且"扬智、崇智,开启了智性传统"。而实际上,法家确如余英时先生所言,反智而非崇智。周先生之所以得出法家崇智之结论,根本原因在于没有正确、全面地解读法家原始文献。
YuYing shi considered that the Legalists was Anti-intellectualism in his paper Anti- intellectualism and Chinese politics tradition. Zhouehi cheng put forward an opposite idea in his paper On the Leagalists intellectual tradition. But actually ,the Legalists was against intellectuality indeed.The reason that Mr.Zhou educed the wrong conclusion lies in his misconstruing the original works.
