本文以《红楼梦》为语料,对作品中出现的语码转换的社会语用功能进行了分析。语码转换是交际者用于实现自己交际目的的一种非常重要的交际策略,体现着说话者的社会心理动机。人们在使用语码转换时,往往实现多种社会语用功能,诸如强调身份、改变情感距离、显示权势关系、回避社会禁忌等功能。

By taking A Dream of Red Mansions as corpus, this article analyzes the social pragmatic function of code-switching. Code-switching, as a very important conversational strategy, employed by the speakers to attain the communicative goal and reveal the social psychological motive as well. Various social pragmatic functions are achieved in conversation with code-switching, such as expressing identity, changing affective distance, asserting power, and avoiding taboo, etc.
