本文通过对俞剑华"中国画改良论"的分析,论述了这一理论建构和学术主张的科学性、影响及当代意义。并进一步指出中国画发展所应证的"中国画改良论"的历史作用和学术价值。

Through analyzing Yu Jianhua’s ‘Theory on Ameliorating Traditional Chinese Painting’, this thesis states the correctness, effect and contemporary meaning of this theoretical construction and academic idea. It also points out the historical function and academic value of his theory that has already been proved by the development of traditional Chinese painting.
