A Discussion on the Northern Steppe Rock Painting from the Perspective of Cultural Anthropology

北方草原岩画从内容上分为生产生活岩画、舞蹈岩画、宗教祭祀岩画、生育岩画、符号岩画、征战岩画等,每一类岩画都反映出一定的民族文化内涵,包括了物质文化和精神文化。岩画是通过岩石这一物质载体,经过刻、凿、划、画等技法,来反映人们生活生产的一种艺术形式。同时又是一种文化象征的符号,以一种非语言的信息传递方式,通过象征意义反映人们的观念和心理愿望。

From the angle of its content, the northern steppe rock painting can be classified into work and life painting, dance painting, religious and sacrificial painting, propagation painting, sign painting and war painting. Each type has its own special national cultural connotation, physical and spiritual. The rock painting is an art whose carrier is rock onto which the painting is engraved to reflect people＇ s life and work. It is a cultural symbol that transmits information in a non -verbal way. It symbolizes our human beliefs and desires.
