Problems concerning college students＇ humanistic quality and their solutions

大学生是社会发展的生力军和国家的希望，其人文素养的高低不仅关系到个人的全面发展，更关系到一个国家的世界竞争力，但是我国大学生人文素养的现实状况却不容乐观。要改变这一现状，大学教育应从改革课程设置、专业课程渗透人文精神、开展第二课堂、提高教师人文素养、丰富校园文化建设及组织社会实践活动等几个方面作出努力。

As the new pushing force in social development, college students ＇humanistic quality concerns not only their comprehensive development as individuals, but more importantly, concerns the competitive force of a nation in the world. Unfortunately, college students＇humanistic quality is problematic in China, and to change the situation college education has to take the following measures： reforming curriculum design, promoting extra-class activities, adding humanistic dimension to university courses, enhancing instructors＂ humanistic quality, bettering campus humanistic environment and advocating students＇participation in social work.
