摘要 长周期光纤光栅是近几年出现的新型光纤器件,它在某些方面比普通均匀周期光纤光栅具有更大的优越性。现已在掺铒光纤的增益平坦和光纤传感等方面发挥越来越重要的作用。本文较详细地阐述了该种光纤光栅的原理和工作特性,同时介绍了最新的研究动态。 Long-Period Optical Fiber Grating is a nwe kind of fiber device which was developed in recent several years. It has been applied in Er doped laser gain equalizationand fiber sensor etc. In some aspects,it has more advanteges than normal periodic fibergratings. In this paper,the theory,character and the latest research of the LPG has beendescribed in detail.
