The film displays the dilemma of the plastic surgery that brings fatal allure as well as destructive strike to modern society. As a leading metaphor of the film, plastic surgery explores itself with penetrating postmodern viewpoint and contemplation, which is perfectly incorporated in the deliberate characterizations, amoral plots and certain postmodernistic artistic techniques.
