YE Chang-chi and Tieqintongjian Library

著名藏书家叶昌炽,与清末四大藏书楼之一的铁琴铜剑楼楼主有着深厚的友谊。在叶昌炽的日记中记录有大量的铁琴铜剑楼珍籍善本以及叶氏与瞿氏两代楼主交往的资料,对这些资料的整理研究,不仅有助于我们了解叶氏学术活动的一个方面,更有助于我们了解叶昌炽与铁琴铜剑楼的关系渊源。

YE Chang-chi, a famous bibliophile, is the bosom friend of the owner of the Tieqintongjian Library which is one of the four book collection libraries at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The diaries kept by YE Chang-chi, record a large number of rare editions as preserved in the Tieqintongjian Library, together with an account of the contacts between YE and two generations of QU families. The classification and analysis on the data not only help familiarize ourselves with the academic activities of the YE family, but also help know the history of the relationship between YE Chang-chi and Tieqintongjian Library.
