摘要
借鉴社会学与管理学的研究方法,以经济英语ESP课程、英语经典阅读课程和大学体验英语EGP课程为实际案例,通过问卷调查和访谈的形式,比较了学习者对这三种不同类型的大学英语教学模式的相对满意度,认为当前大学英语应尝试开设更多的语言欣赏型课程和专门用途英语课程,以满足学习者多样化的需求。
Employing the questionnaire, interviewing and other methodologies in sociology and management research, the paper attempts to compare the relative satisfaction of college students based on three empirical cases, that is, English for Economics as an ESP course, Classic Reading for College English and New Experiencing College English as EGP courses. It concludes that more language-appreciation and ESP courses should be introduced in College English teaching so as to meet the various demands of learners.
