摘要 作为一种新的视频压缩编码标准,H.264具有低码率、高画质和高压缩比等特点,同时也显示出巨大的计算开销和内存开销,尤其是运动估计这部分。因此如何根据H.264的特点,找到合适H.264的快速运动估计算法就成为当前研究的一个热点。首先论述了H.264帧间编码的基本原理和运动估计的关键技术。然后介绍了已有的几种典型的块匹配运动估计搜索算法,包括全搜索和快速搜索算法,并分析了它们各自的优缺点。最后,鉴于六边形算法的通用性,对六边形搜索算法进行了简化和分析。 As a new video compression coding standard,H. 264 has low bit rate, high quality and high compression ratio characteristics, but it costs highly computational complexity and memory spending, especially in motion estimation part. Therefore,according to the characteristics of H. 264, it is a hot issue to find out a fast motion estimation algorithms in recent researching. Describes the basic principle and the essential technologies of the H. 264 video coding standard. Introduces several popularly fast block matching motion estimation algorithms, including full - search algorithms and fast - search algorithms, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. The hexagon algorithm is used universally,so introduces a simplification algorithm and analyses the hexagon search.
