论清末民初中国高等教育转型中的人物及事件

On the Figures and Events during the Period of Transferred Chinese Higher Education in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China

"西学东渐"诸多影响之中,中国吸纳了大量的西方文化成就,改造了中国高等教育,这已是百年前的一个不短周期的教育运动现象。在今日,在国家走向强盛的时刻,我们以自信的心态重新审视这一段中国高等教育演化史的人物和事件,或许会有新的认识,这有助于提升尚显薄弱的中国高等教育史研究并使之走向成熟。

Influenced by a good many factors of ＂Xixue＂ and ＂Dongjian＂ （i. e. , to apply West learning imperceptibly to the oriental praeflee） , China had absorbed plentiful Western cultral achievements for the rebuilding of Chinese higher education, a phenomena of educational movement lasting for quite a certain period of time over one hundred year before. With the puissant development of our country nowadays, surveying over again confidently the figures and events during the period of transferred Chinese higher education in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, we can acquire new cognitions of them which may help strengthen the research on the history of Chinese higher education that still appears a bit unsubstantial at present.
