北京无轨电车再添新兵

New Trolley-Bus BJD-WG160B on Road in Beijing

2009年3月19日，100辆新型铰接式无轨电车BJD—WG160B在北京正式投入运营。新车宽约2．5m，拥有近16m的身长和3．7m的身高，是目前北京最大、最长的无轨电车。动力系统采用南车株机JD145型牵引电机，输出功率达120kW，可为整车提供强有力的牵引动力（电力来自空中架线，仍需电车的2条“大辫子”——编者注）。车厢内可容纳140人，是以前BJD—WG120A型电车载客能力的1．5倍。
