Comparison of Literary Criticism Ideology between Zhou Zuoren and Lu Xun

鲁迅和周作人共同经历了二十世纪初的社会剧变,两人生前事各异,身后名不同,不过二者在文学批评思想上却相通之处甚多:"人的文学"观点虽是周作人明确提出的,但鲁迅同样功不可没;两人从不同角度坚持文学批评"自由"和"宽容"的原则;两人对文学阶级性和文学功用的认识其实并无根本冲突。他们的诸多共同认识都是建立在对文学本质共同深刻把握的基础之上的。

Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren have experienced the dramatic changes in the early 20th century society together atthough they have many differences, in literary, however, criticism ideology they have many things in place： Although the value of ＂People＇ s Literature＂ contributes to Zhou Zuoren clearly, Lu Xun has the same great contribution; they adhere to the literary criticism principle of ＂freedom＂ and ＂tolerance＂ from different aspects; their views about literature＇ s class nature and understanding of the function of literature actually have no fundamental conflict. They have so many common understandings which are based on the same profound grasp of literature＇ s essence.
