高等教育适度规模实证研究——以教育部76所直属高校为例

An Empirical Analysis of Moderate Scale in Higher Education

高校作为一个投入产出系统,其规模是影响教育投资利用效率的一个重要因素。根据76所教育部直属院校2006年的横截面数据,运用多产出固定成本模型进行实证分析,发现我国部属院校存在着单一规模的不经济现象,但各类型的院校均具有总体规模经济的特点。

The institutions of higher education can be considered as a system of input and output.Whether the scale is moderate or not will affect the educational investment efficiency.Based on the data of 76 universities directly under the Ministry of Education in 2006,a multi-input fixed-cost model is used to analyze the scale of these universities.The results show that there is a phenomenon of being not economical because of single scale among the universities directly under the Ministry of Education in China,while the universities of every kind have the character of overall scale economy.
