Writing Historical Memory——A Symptomatic Reading of Mother of Gobi Desert

屯垦叙事成为革命历史题材电视剧新近发掘的亮点,从文化研究视角出发对电视剧《戈壁母亲》进行症候式解读,发现其借助于大众文本叙事形态、有效地链接起新疆生产建设兵团的历史与现状以及消费主义影响下的大众文化接受语境,成功地超越了个体的"怀旧"和历史线性叙述的局限,在大众文化与主流意识形态的有效接合中实现了"去政治化的政治"。

Wasteland - reclamation narrative pattern has become a newly fashionable topic of revolutionary historical teleplays. Through a symptomatic reading from the perspective of Cultural Studies upon Mother of Gobi Desert, We see that this teleplay, by means of popular text narration, successfully linked the history and present situations of Xinjiang Agricultural Regime with the reception contexts of popular culture affected by consumption culture, and also transcended individual nostalgia feelings and the limitations of historically linear narration. As a result, it implemented depolitieization of polities with an effective articulation between popular culture and mainstream ideology.
