苗族刺绣的特点在于苗族妇女的独特创造,在于培养苗族人的历史意识,教育苗族后来人不忘苗族祖先故土,体现出苗族人对祖先的追忆和寻根的浓重相思,被视为苗族凝固的历史而得以传承。

Miao people＇s embroidery features in the unique creation of Miao women, with the purpose of raising the historical coneiousness of Miao people and giving Miao descendants the education to cherish their ancestors and native land. This reflects Miao people＇s deep love feeling of recollections on their forefathers and of seeking their roots, which is inherited by Miao people as the solidified history.
