唐代科举非常重视试判。作为考察吏能的文体,并不似唐代杜佑所说专以难人为能事;判题本身被赋予了为现实政治服务的目的,文人政治下受尚文风尚的影响,在判体文中,吏能主要表现为学问精通、文章美丽。

Judge was much emphasized in the imperial examination during the Tang dynasty. As the text of examining officials＇competence, it was different from Duyou＇s examination text aiming at causing the puzzle. The judge text itself was endowed with serving for the political purpose, and under the influence of prevailing fashion for literary officials performed the skill in mastering learning and writing the text full of beauty in judge writing.
