摘要
通过问卷调查,采集了天津工程师范学院英语专业学生英语学习动机的相关数据。利用SPSS统计软件对数据进行了因子分析,提取了学生英语学习的主要动机类型。统计分析结果显示:心理动机、兴趣动机、个人发展动机、功能性动机、学习情境动机以及规划和成就动机为英语学习的主要动机。其中,心理动机和规划和成就动机则体现了英语专业学生的特性。针对上述动机,提出了教学改革建议,即增加学生的专业认同感、增加英语使用的情境、帮助学生制定人生规划等等。
Based on the research project on English Major Students' English learning motivation, the basic types of motivation which include psychological motivation, interest, individual development, functional motivation, learning atmosphere, and plan and achievement are analysed. Among all these, psychological motivation and plan and achievement reveal the special characteristics of English Major Students. Therefore, this paper provides some constructive suggestions for teachers, including helping the students build a sense of major, increasing the chances of using English, and helping students make a life plan and get a sense of achievement.
