摘要
抽象名词广泛应用于各种文体是现代英语的一大特点。文章主要从广义修辞的角度剖析抽象名词的修辞色彩及其思维投射,目的在于帮助读者提高语言交际的质量,提高阅读、翻译和写作等方面的能力。
One of the features of modem English is the wide use of abstract nouns in all kinds of writing.
