The function and importance of reference oil in simulated distillation analysis for the determination of distribution of the catalytic cracking oil fraction were reviewed.The experiments proved that reference oil play a very important role in following the shift of chromatographic column,the check of chromatographic sampler and system,the determination of the failure of chromatographic column.
