This paper firstly introduces the concept of knowledge visualization, the status quo at home and abroad, and explains its function, then analyses the problems which are urgently solved for subject information research, lastly presents to apply visual analysis and knowledge visualization in subject information research for improving the efficiency of subject information research and improving the mode of operation.
