Based on the current status of alfalfa industry in Cangzhou, the potential advantages and problems of alfalfa industry development were analyzed. The suggestions and countermeasures were put forward, including strengthening guidance, cultivating market, building base, establishing famous brand, promoting processing and translation of alfalfa on the spot, establishing the service system of alfalfa industry, and improving service function.
