于右任一生为国家、为人民、为家乡父老做了无数功德,在文武两条战线,功高齐天,英名盖世。于右任作为早期追随孙中山进行民主革命的先驱之一,一生坚守孙中山提倡的新民主主义思想。从于右任受关中农民朴素的民族精神的熏陶,"关学"前贤的影响,投身民主革命大潮的锻炼,对托尔斯泰思想的崇拜情怀以及受马克思列宁主义、"十月革命"的影响等,详述其民主革命思想的形成原因;揭示于右任从青少年时期早期的反清排满意识到民主革命思想的形成,再进而把中国人民的命运与世界人民的命运融为一体的思考;在此基础上,于右任逐步完善了自己的思想体系,形成了具有强烈中华民族主体意识与世界人民和谐共处的民主革命思想体系。

In his whole life, Yu Youren had created numerous merits and virtues for the country, the people and the elders in his hometown. Both on the cultural and military fronts, he achieved greatest merits and his illustrious name is peerless. As one of forerunners following Sun Yat-sen to devote himself in the democratic revolution in the early stage, he had adhered to the thinking of the new democratic doctrine advocated by Sun Yat-sen in his whole life. The paper has made a detailed description of the formation of his democratic revolutionary thinking from the fact that Yu Youren underwent the edification of the simple national spirit of the peasants in the Guanzhong district, the impact of the past wise men of the ＂Guan Studies＂ , the steeling of his participation in the great movement of the democratic revolution, the worship feeling of the Tolstoy thinking and the impact of Marxism, Leninism and the ＂October Revolution＂. It has revealed the formation of Yu Youren＇s thinking from the anti-Qing and Man-excluding awareness to the democratic revolution in his teenage period, and then the consideration to blend the fate of the Chinese people into the fate of the people of the world as a whole. Based on the above, Yu Youren perfected his own thinking system, that is, the thinking system of democratic revolution with the strong national main body consciousness of China and the harmonic coexistence with the people across the globe.
