英汉互译中的词汇空缺现象与语用标记价值

Lexis Vacancy Phenomenon and Pragmatic Markedness Value in Mutual Translation between English and Chinese

翻译涉及译出语和译入语之间语言和文化的相互转化,其最终目的是寻求意义、文化和功能等的相对等值。但受语境的影响,在英汉互译的过程中往往会存在词汇空缺现象,最终导致语用标记价值的产生。文中从语用学的视角出发,阐述语境下词汇空缺现象及语用标记价值产生的过程,从而揭示两者之间的关系。

Translation, involves the transformation of language and culture between source language and target language, which aims at seeking the relative equivalence of meaning, culture and function. But with the influence of context, the phenomenon of lexis vacancy always exists in the process of translation between English and Chinese, thus the pragmatic markedness value will be produced finally. This article expounds the phenomenon of lexis vacancy and the process which produces the pragmatic markedness value in context from the pragmatics perspective so as to show the relationship between them.
