The process technique of high tensile strength and good elongation Q＆P steel, related theoretical model and the status of research and development are introduced. The importance of the choice of quenching temperature and suppression of carbide precipitation for Q＆P process is pointed out and the application of Q＆P steel in vehicle is discussed.
