道教宫观因其自然旨趣而具有一定的生态保护、恢复和教育功能,发挥这些功能对国家的生态文明建设、道教的健康发展及道观所在地的经济社会发展都有重要意义。

Taoist palaces and temples have become part of nature, and thus they fulfill the functions of ecological protection, restoration and education. The fulfillment of these functions is significant to the national construction of ecological civilization, the sound development of Taoism and the social and economic development of their locations.
