摘要
美国普渡大学是一所以工科为主的研究型大学,该校工学院实施的新生计划为工程人才的培养打下了坚实的基础。新生计划开设了多种工程预备课程,同时关注工程实践与社区服务,通过工程专业学习共同体培养学生工程素质与合作精神。这一培养模式对我们有很强的借鉴意义。
Pudu University is an engineering dominated research university in America, whose affiliated technical school has implemented a freshmen program that has laid a good foundation for the cultivation of engineen＇ng talents. The freshmen program has offered a variety of preliminary courses of engineering; meanwhile it has paid close attention to engineering practice and community service, cultivating students＇ engineering quality and cooperative spirits through the study community of engineering subjects. This mode of cultivation has great referential significance to China＇ s engineering education.
