Learning assessment in social work education has multifunction such as promoting student learning, teacher teaching, and school management. The content of student learning assessment includes cognitive assessment, ability assessment, value assessment and so on. We can choose multi-methods or some special method for assessing student learning progress. To improve the assessment in social work education, we should try to integrate social work education with China＇s reality, enrich the content of class teaching, promote the abilities of teacher, and increase the support to the subject of social work.
