摘要
粒度参数是海洋沉积物的基本特征,其计算方法的选择导致粒度参数的差异成为制约沉积物粒度数据同化的主要因素之一。基于传统图解法的基本原理,发展了分段低次线性插值方法用于图解法的粒度参数快速计算,使用该方法和矩法分别计算了南海172个表层沉积物粒级参数,并对2种不同方法计算的结果进行相关性验证。结果表明:2种方法得到的平均粒径、分选系数、偏态和峰态分别呈显著相关,且相关性依次降低。通过与前人的研究结果对比,发现2种方法计算的平均粒径和分选系数相关性较为稳定,基本不受沉积物类型的影响;而偏态和峰态值与沉积物物质组成密切相关,物质组成单一稳定,则相关性较高,反之表现为不相关。因此,在资料整合同化处理过程中应充分考虑2种参数计算结果的差异。
Grain-size parameters are the basic characters of marine sediments. The difference resulted from the choice of method becomes one of the main factors which limits the data assimilation of grain-size parameters. Based on the principle of the traditional graphical method, parted low power linear interpretation is developed for the calculation of grain-size parameters. Using this method and Moment method, 172 grain-size parameters of surface sediments from the South China Sea are caculated and the results are discussed by correlative analysis. The results indicate that mean grain size, sorting coefficient, skewness and kurtosis are respectively significantly correlative. Their correlation coefficients are depressed in turn. By comparing with the results of former' s study, it is found out that mean grain size and sorting coefficient derived from the two different methods are significantly correlative and stable, which is not affected by sediment types. Reversely, skewness and kurtosis seem to significant correlative with the composition of the sediments. While the composition of sediments is simple and stable, the correlation is well. Contrariwise, it shows no correlation. Therefore, the difference between Moment method and Graphical method should be considered in the process of data assimilation and processing.
