生态价值观与制度中立——兼论生态文明的制度建设

Eco-Values and Neutrality of Institutions

现代制度受制于"资本的逻辑"和经济主义。经济主义不仅是指导现代制度建设的意识形态,而且是力图全面指导人们价值追求的"整全性信仰"。经济主义激励着"大量生产—大量消费—大量废弃"的生产生活方式。论证制度中立性是一种重要的政治理想,生态文明的制度建设应该追求这一理想。生态文明的制度建设应该以生态学和生态价值观为指导,生态价值观既能对各种宗教和哲学保持特定意义上的中立性,又能构成各种真正重视精神超越的宗教和哲学的重叠共识。

Institutions in modem society are regulated by ＂the logic of capital＂ and economism. Economism is not merely an ideology guiding the formation of modem institutions, but also a ＂comprehensive doctrine＂ attempting to guide peoples＇ pursuit of their value. It encourages the modes of production and life of ＂mass production -- mass consumption mass throw - away＂. Exposition and verification of neutrality of institutions is an important political ideal. The construction of institutions of eco - civilization should seek and realize this political ideal. Meanwhile, it ought ＂to be guided by ecology and eco - values. Eco - values remain neutral to all sorts of religions in a particular sense ; also they constitute the overlapping consensus of all those religions and philosophies which really take spiritual transcendence seriously.
