自从航运市场的船舶日均收益率在2008年末暴跌以来,全球航运市场一直处于痛苦之中。再加之全球经济和金融风暴带来的影响,使得全球造船市场基本处于停滞状态,中国船厂甚至在2009年1月份里没有接到一笔新造船订单。船厂不仅面临着现金流紧张的问题,还受到降价的压力,而船东却在考虑延迟交付甚至取消手中的订单,而非签订更多的新造船订单。
The shipping market has been feeling a lot of pain since earnings plummeted in the later part of 2008.Combined with wider global economic and financial problems,this has brought the shipbuilding market essentially to a standstill and no new orders were reported at Chinese shipyards during January 2009.Shipyards are facing problems with cash flow and pressure on newbuilding prices,while shipowners' thoughts are focusing on the possibility of delay or cancellation of current orders,not of new contracting.
