秦晋两省黄河沿岸方言的关系及其形成原因

The relationships among the dialects of the areas along the Yellow River in Qin-Jin Provinces and reasons of its formation

秦晋两省黄河沿岸方言之间,语音上存在相当大的共同性,也有明显的差异,两岸方言关系的总特点是,南北差异大于东西差异,黄河在方言之间的联通作用大于阻隔作用。秦晋两省之间——尤其是沿河地带在历史行政、水路交通、人口迁徙和交往等方面的密切关系,可以解释方言关系形成的原因。

There are many commonalities and obvious differences in the dialects of the area along the Yellow River in Shaanxi and Shanxi Provinces. It shows that differences between the south and the north are more remarkable than those between the west and the east. The Yellow River plays a role of contacting rather than a barrier among these dialects. There are close relationships in the administration, history, water communication, population migration, communication, in Qin-Jin provinces, especially the area along the river. These factors can be seen as explanations on the formation of the relationships among the dialects.
