This paper introduces briefly the frequency converting and speed -adjusting principle of the asynchronous motor and the structure of the Yaskawa frequency converter. Then it states in detail different troubles occurs during the usage of the Yaskawa frequency converter in the gantry crane, and introduces the methods of diagnosing and treatment, which could be referenced by the same field.
