This paper introduced the actuality of strawberry production and research in Japan, and pointed out the existent problems in strawberry production. Aiming at the requirements of reducing east, increasing yield, improving quality, lightening labor intensity and saving labor in midwifery - cultivated strawberry production, and the objects of all - year production and super - high yielding production, the author analyzed the exploitation actuality and developmental trends of variety, breeding, cultivation, control of plant diseases and insect pests, harvest, classification casing, distribution, circulation, establishment and low cost of summer-growth.
