Discussion on Theory of "Liver and Kidney being of Same Source" and Mechanism of Emotional Control

从中医基础理论和现代医学的实验研究两个方面,论述"肝肾同源"理论在情志相关疾病发生、发展过程及其治疗中的应用,同时结合肝肾两脏在现代医学心理应激过程中的相互协同的作用,探讨了"肝肾同源"理论与情志调控机制之间的相关性,为应用该理论预防和治疗情志疾病提供依据。

The authors study the manifestations of ＂hver and kidney being of same source＂ theory in the occurrence, development and clincial treatment of mental diseases from aspects of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） and experimental study of modem medicine. In combiation with the collaborative roles of live and kidney in process of psychological stress, the authors discuss the correlation between the theory of ＂liver and kidney being of same source＂ and mechanisms of emotional control, which provide proof for applying the theory in prevention and treatment of mental diseases.
