一种快速H.264/AVC 4×4块帧内预测模式选择算法 被引量:2

摘要 H.264/AVC是最新的视频压缩标准,帧内预测是其中一个重要组成部分。JVT(JointVideoTeam)提供的参考软件采用全搜索算法进行帧内预测,其算法复杂度很高,无法满足实时视频的需求。本文分析了8×8块内4×4子块最佳预测模式的相关性,并通过计算灰度共生矩阵提取图像的纹理特征,对图像纹理方向进行预判,提出了一种新的4×4块快速预测算法。实验结果表明本算法在信噪比和码率变化极小的情况下,编码速度有显著提高。 H. 264/AVC is the newest video coding standard and intra prediction is an important constituting part of it. The reference program from JVT( Joint Video Team) used the full search algorithm for intra prediction which is' an algorithm with high complexity and not fit for real -time video. In this paper, based the correlation of the best prediction mode of 4 x 4 blocks in one 8 x 8 block, a new fast intra prediction algorithm using textural features extracted from gray - tone spatial - dependence matrix is proposed. Experience results show that the proposed fast algorithm can achieve remarkable computation reduction while maintaining similar PSNR and bit rate performance.
