The English movie is visually attractive and culture -loaded, which makes it an irreplaceable instrument in teaching English culture. This paper discusses the necessity of teaching culture in college English and the urgency of enhancing students＇cross -cultural awareness, and then presents effective methods of teaching culture in English movie class.
