从梦到醒:三个小说文本中的城市意象解读

From Illusion to Reality——An Interpretation about the Image of City in Three Novel Texts

城市是知识与文明的汇聚之地,某种程度上代表着以农村为生活起点的当代中国人的梦想。在文学界域,城市意象蕴含着复杂的情感色调。路遥长篇小说《人生》中的高加林是改革开放初期小说文本中奔向城市梦想的代表,他的梦想以挫折失败而悲剧性地告终。之后,当代作家笔下陆续有以官员或高级知识分子身份实现城市梦想的人物,借助他们的体验、省察与迷失,文学世界构建起充满矛盾的城市意象。

The city is the confluence where knowledge and civilization gather together, and in some sense it indicates the realization of the dreams of those who come from the country. In literary field the image of city contains complex sensibilities. Gao Jia-lin, a character in Lu Yao＇ s full-length novel The Life, is the initial representative who yearns fervently for city life since the policy of opening-up. Gao＇ s living dream ends up in failure in the text. Afterwards, the characters whose identities are officials or higher intellectuals are created by contemporary writers. Their experience, examination and perplexity symbolize different images of city in literary works.
