简要介绍了AIS的概念、组成、功能以及卫星导航系统的现状和作用。从国际协调时、动态信息、转发DGPS差分信息等三个方面阐述了AIS与GPS技术互补应用研究。两者相辅相成，为船舶导航和避碰发挥巨大的作用。
The concept, constitution, function of AIS and the actuality, function of satellite system of navigation were introduced in brief. Complementary application of AIS and GPS was researched by UTC, dynamic information, and transmitting DGPS information. They supplement each other for ship navigating and avoiding colliding.
