Sustainable social and economic development in city promots the municipal environmental construction and the maintenance of positive cycle of ecosystem. The article indicates the environmental situation in Nanjing economic zone, it points out the main environmental problems in the zone, it analyses the reachment of environmental goals, and it suggests the main measures to strengthen the environmental protection in the zone.
