摘要 介绍了一种基于多媒体处理芯片TMS320DM642的视频处理模块的硬件设计方案,阐述了该模块的功能要求及硬件实现方法。模块的设计以TMS320DM642为核心处理器,充分利用了TMS320DM642的片上外设资源,综合构成了一套能够对一路网络视频进行解码,还能够同时对两路复合视频(PAL/NTFS/SECAM)进行编码的系统。模块支持业界流行的MPEG-4和H.264视频编解码标准。该设计方案为软件设计人员以及多种实际应用场合提供了一个通用的平台。 A design scheme of Video Processing Module based on processor TMS320DM642 is introduced in this paper. The required functionality and the hardware implementation methods are described in detail. TMS320DM642 has excellent performance and considerable on-chip peripheral resources. By making full use of its advantages, a system has been built, which can code two composite videos simultaneously, and decode one network video. The module supports MPEG-4 and H.264 video coding and decoding standard widely used in the industry world. This design scheme can provide a general hardware platform for the software engineers and can be used in various application domains.
