环氧化酶-2和血管内皮生长因子在喉癌中的表达及临床意义 被引量:5

The expression of COX-2 and VEGF in laryngeal carcinoma tissue and its clinical significance

摘要 目的研究环氧化酶-2(Cyclooxygenase-2,COX-2)和血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)在喉癌中的表达及临床意义。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测65例喉癌组织及34例癌旁组织中COX-2和VEGF表达,并结合相关临床病理参数进行分析。结果COX-2和VEGF在喉癌中阳性表达率分别为63.08%和70.77%,均高于癌旁组织中的表达(P<0.05),且两者表达呈显著相关性(P<0.05)。COX-2表达与T分期和临床分期相关,VEGF表达则与临床分期和淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05)。生存分析显示COX-2和VEGF阳性表达和阴性表达患者无瘤生存率和总生存率差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论COX-2和VEGF在喉癌组织表达异常增高,其在喉癌发生发展中可能发挥重要作用,且两指标的表达与喉癌不良预后有关。 OBJECTIVE To investigate the expression of Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in laryngeal carcinoma tissue and its clinical significance. METHODS Sixty-five samples of laryngeal carcinoma and thirty-four biopsies of adjacent noncancerous tissue were immunohistochemically examined for expression of COX-2 and VEGF, whose relationship with clinicopathological parameters was also analysied. RESULTS Percentages of COX-2 and VEGF expression in laryngeal carcinoma tissue were 63.08% and 70.77% respectively, which were higher than those in adjacent noncancerous tissue (P〈0.05) . The expression of COX-2 in laryngeal carcinoma tissue was found to be associated with the expression of VEGF (P〈0.05) .The expression of COX-2 significantly redated between patients with different T stage and clinical stage, and the expression of VEGF significantly redated between patients with different clinical stage and lymph node metastases (P〈0.05) . Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the disease-free survival and overall survival were significantly lower in patients with COX-2 or VEGF positive expression than those with negative expression (P〈0.05) .CONCLUSION The overexpression of COX-2 and VEGF suggested that they may play an important role in the process of occurrence and development in laryngeal carcinoma. In addition, the expression of the two markers was related to the poor prognosis of laryngeal carcinoma.
