摘要
在考虑到端面反射率影响的前提下,从SOA载流子的速率方程和耦合波方程出发,建立了基于SOA的交叉增益调制波长变换理论模型,利用分段模型方法对影响增益特性的几个参数进行了数值模拟。结果发现,注入电流和有源区面积对SOA增益的影响有一个阈值,在阈值范围内,SOA增益的大小随着注入电流和有源区面积的增大而明显的增大,但是超过阈值时,则SOA增益趋向饱和。
Considering the effects of the facet reflectivity of SOA, the wavelength transformation theory is presented based on the SOA. The parameters are calculated which affect the gain characters by using the subsection model. It is shown that the input current and the source area have thresholds which affect gain characteristics of SOA, and when they are less than the threshold, the source area and the gain increase with the increasing of the input current. However, when the input current and source area are greater than the threshold, the gain of SOA will tend to a constant.
