摘要
为了实现全球范围内的资源共享,美军提出了全球信息栅格(Global Information Grid,GIG)技术。深入研究全球信息栅格技术对于提高我军信息化建设水平,推进以信息技术革命为主体的新军事革命,具有十分重要的意义。介绍了GIG信息传输的主要技术:IPv6、MPLS(Multi-protocol Label Switching)和主要核心部分,提出了它们在GIG应用中的使用方法。最后详细分析了如何利用IPv6与MPLS两者在相互转换过程中,通过设定新的想定方案实现改进GIG核心部分的性能。
In order to achieve global resources sharing, the American Army propose the Global Information Grid technique. It is of great significance to make a profound study of the GIG so that our arrny's new military revolution can be propelled. This paper introduces emerging technologies that will make up the GIG transport including IPv6, MPLS, and the Black Core, and bring design approaches for their use in the GIG. Finally the paper expounds some innovative scenarios of how IPv6-to-MPLS inter-working can be used for performance improvements in the Black Core.
