Wide Sargasso Sea, the masterpiece of Jean Rhys, endows the mad woman in the attic in Jane Eyre with a voice, allowing her to tell the story set on the West Indian Islands between Rochester and her before her madness. The novelist's ecofeminist awareness in creation can be amplified in her motivation to demonstrate the other side of in the West Indian Islands and her re - imagination of nature and women on the islands.
