摘要
《裴启语林》欲效"处士横议",不顾时忌,直至触怒权相谢安;时人望风鄙视,小说最终亡佚。《裴启语林》"遂废"的根本原因,不是因为有微小不实,而是因为讽刺锋芒。这一看似偶然的事件背后有其深层的文化动因。
Just like those scholars who looked down upon official positions,Pei Qi criticized current malpractice in his work with no hesitation,which eventually offended Xie An the prime minister.Forced by the situation,few people dared to show interest in this book and gradually it was lost.So the real cause of its being lost lies in the acute ironic descriptions in the book,which reflects the deep cultural background behind the seemingly independent case.
