In the present industrial society, geomancy culture has been considered as a superstition for it＇ s discrepancy of the mechanical cause and effect , it also cannot be accepted by many scholars. However,on the other hand, Geomancy culture does contain scientific and rational things. It is rooted in traditional Chinese customs and culture, making an impact on people＇ s social life, particularly on the construction of Chinese culture . As a result, to do a research and analysis on the influences of geomancy culture on modern residential design concept, is still a very valuable thing for us.
