摘要 介绍了一种S波段采用固态放大器直接驱动直流运用前向波管的新型发射机。固态放大器的峰值功率5kW,前向波管输出峰值功率100kW,平均功率6kW,最大脉冲宽度60μs,采用高纯水冷却。发射机具有低成本、高效率、高可靠性、小体积、轻重量、可快速开机等突出优点。采用波导魔T对两部发射机进行了功率合成研究,带内合成效率超过90%。 A novel S-band high power transmitter which combines a solid-state amplifier (SSA) with a high efficiency forward wave crossed-field amplifier(CFA) is described in this paper. The SSA can operate at a peak power of 5 kw, the CFA, cooled by deionized water, 100 kw, with an average output of 6kw and a maximum pulse width of 60 μs. This novel transmitter features low cost, high efficiency, high reliability, small size, light weight, and high startup speed. In this paper, two such transmitters is combined through a waveguide magic T, and their power tested. The results show that the combined efficiency can exceed 90% within the operating band.
