The porous asphalt pavement with open - graded friction course （ OGFC ） is a new type of structure, which has some functions including drainage, noise reduction and sliding resistance. This article describes the OGFC mix design, the key points for attention during eonstruction, and made a contrast analysis of costs between OGFC using high - viscosity modified asphah and SMA using modified asphalt, and finally concludes that OGFC surface course is lower than SMA pavement.
