This paper analyses the challenges of current subprime crisis on modern economics and points out that the future development of economics needs to throw aside its own conceit and keep to the following direction： grasp the uncertainty in the economic world, encourage the dialogue between abstract model and direct experience, balance the role of government and market and explore the correlation mechanism between symbol economy and real economy.
